Safeguarding Statement
Our commitment
The safety and wellbeing of children at Little Lily’s Academy is our highest priority. We follow statutory safeguarding requirements and local safeguarding partnerships to ensure children are safe from harm at all times. Staff are trained to recognise and respond to signs of abuse, neglect or distress, and we follow clear reporting procedures.
Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
Our DSL is: Leanne Harris, Academy Manager.
Deputy DSL: Becca , Deputy Manager.
What we do
• All staff hold an enhanced DBS check and receive regular safeguarding training.
• We follow safer recruitment practices and check references for all hires.
• Clear policies are in place for e-safety, mobile phone use, missing child procedures and whistleblowing.
• We work with families and external agencies where appropriate, and we will always act in the child’s best interests.
If you have concerns
If you have any safeguarding concerns about a child at our setting, please contact the DSL immediately at 01376 800 230 or email enquiries.littlelilysacademy@gmail.com. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
